Ooh la la! The show we all loved (or loved to snark on) in quarantine is back for a second season, and Emily’s still doing her best to make sense of the City of Light. The all-female, Black-owned real estate agency Allure Realty gets the reality-TV treatment in this series that’s sure to have Selling Sunset fans glued to the TV. Hook ’em, Horns! Selling Tampa (December 15) This show is described as a “coming-of-age reality series set in Austin, Texas, in which 20-somethings navigate love and friendship and start a new adventure.” In other words, it’s a barely concealed Real World reboot, and we’re tentatively here for it. In her first Netflix comedy special, A Black Lady Sketch Show’s Nicole Byer makes light of everything from cat funerals to lockdown hookups, and it’s delightful. Nicole Byer: BBW (Big Beautiful Weirdo) (December 7) This new Western drama from director Jane Campion is based on the 1967 novel of the same name by Thomas Savage and features Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons, and Kodi Smit-McPhee. We’re losing some favorites in December, but there’s a whole new crop of offerings hitting the streaming service next month too-so dig out your coziest blanket and get ready to binge-watch. After a long year, it’s finally time to deck the halls, put a candy cane in your coffee (trust me, it tastes good!), and turn to Netflix for all your holiday movie-watching needs.
